What is the best way to contact you?
Please email jmartini@mvschools.org. If you would like to meet to discuss your child, email first to make an appointment. Monday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons work best.
When should we schedule appointments and trips?
Please schedule appointments and trips outside of class time. We appreciate having our whole community here whenever possible. It is often difficult to replicate lessons that have been missed since my teaching style involves a large amount of full class participation and partner work.
When are library books due?
Library books are due on Thursdays. Third graders are responsible for bringing their own books to the library each week to return or renew. They can also drop them off early in our library box.
How do we celebrate birthdays in Room 4?

We honor the birthday child with a lively round of Happy Birthday and special treatment on their special day. Our third grade classes do not have classroom treats.

How do we order Scholastic Book Club books?
When a book order form comes home, order online only by following the directions below.
All books will be delivered to the classroom.
